Description
The Highland Cattle Scotch whisky brand is named after the shaggy highland cattle that have become a calling card and landmark of Scotland alongside bagpipes and whisky. The breed was developed in the Scottish Highlands (highland translates from English as “highlands”) and the Hebrides. A recognizable shaggy forelock distinguishes the breed. An image of this cattle adorns every bottle of Highland Cattle Scotch whisky. The free-spirited, independent Highland bull embodies the authenticity and Scottish character of Highland Cattle blended whisky. Whisky distillates for Highland Cattle Blended Scotch Whisky are produced by Glen Turner Company Ltd., founded in 1981 by the French La Martiniquaise group to control its own Scotch whisky production. Highland Cattle whisky is bottled at Kolomensky Winery and Cognac Plant (KVKZ) in Russia, founded in 2001. Equipped with modern technology, the facility ensures consistently high quality of its spirits.
