Description
Zolotoy Krim cognac, made by traditional technology, is inspired by centuries of Crimean winemakers’ experience. Evidence of winemaking in Crimea dates back thousands of years, confirmed by numerous archaeological finds. Crimea’s mild climate is ideal for viticulture, so it is no surprise cognac production took root on the peninsula. Crimean cognacs are made from local grapes. Imported harvest loses quality in transit. Experts often note the unique taste of Crimean cognacs, shaped by traditional techniques and local terroir. A balanced, harmonious palate and bright, rich aroma gradually reveal every facet of the spirit. Labels in the Zolotoy Krim cognac line show the outline of Crimea’s main symbol—Swallow’s Nest castle, each year the peninsula’s most visited landmark and a constant venue for cultural events and exhibitions. The Zolotoy Krim cognac line is produced at Kolomensky Winery and Cognac Plant (KVKZ). The facility specializes in high-quality spirits. Modern high-tech production and select raw materials ensure the highest quality of Zolotoy Krim cognacs. Selected cognac distillates are aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years. Highly qualified specialists monitor product quality at every production stage.
Production features
Aging in oak barrels for at least 5 years.
Organoleptic
Deep amber color. The rich aroma with tones of dried apples and apricots shows shades of dark chocolate and vanilla in a transparent haze of tree-nut nuances. Harmonious rounded taste with a viscous-enveloping texture fascinates with a scattering of dried fruit tones and vanilla-caramel shades. The aftertaste is long spicy-smoky
Pairing
Serve as a digestif or in classic and signature cocktails.
