Description
The Caribbean Sunset collection is made from carefully selected Jamaican rum distillates. Jamaican rum is known for maximum flavor intensity and a dense, deep aroma thanks to production nuances—most local producers use more pot stills than on any other Caribbean island. Rum production in Jamaica began in the 17th century. Today it is organized near every sugar factory. Bars are very popular here, and rum is the most sought-after spirit on any drinks menu. Jamaica Rum is produced in large volumes; a significant share is exported and finished and bottled locally under regional brands, many of which have gained worldwide fame. Dark rum from the Caribbean is recommended neat; white rum is more often used in popular cocktails. Jamaica produces light, dark, and spiced rum that may vary in aging. The spirit is made by traditional technology from sugar cane abundant on local plantations.
