Description
Russkie Kreposti Fort Ross whisky is named for the fortress of Russian settlers on the Northern California coast. It was founded by Alexander Baranov, the first chief manager of Russian settlements in America. On September 11, 1812, the flag of the Russian-American Company—a Russian tricolor with the imperial double-headed eagle—was raised over the fort.
Production features
Russian Fortresses Fort Ross ordinary grain whisky has a rich, expressive taste thanks to at least 6 months' contact with oak. Distillation techniques yield exceptional, aromatic malt and grain whisky distillates that are unique in flavour.
Organoleptic
RUSSKIE KREPOTSI Fort Ross whisky offers a bright honey-almond aroma with grape accents, dry herb tones, and a smooth palate with woody notes.
Pairing
Serve as a digestif; pairs excellently with aged cheeses and cured snacks
